Cuddly Makka Pakka Amigurumi Free Crochet Pattern

Designer: Koko Makes

Bring a favorite bedtime friend to life with this cuddly Makka Pakka amigurumi, inspired by the gentle character from In the Night Garden! With its chubby little body, funny antenna-like ears, and unforgettable face, this toy is just begging to be picked up and hugged.

To make Makka Pakka you will need chunky yarn in brown, toffee, and white, a 5 mm crochet hook, fiberfill, stitch markers, a yarn needle, and 5 mm safety eyes. If you want to make the unique eyes like in the photo, you will also need brown and white felt fabric.

The stitches used in this pattern are not difficult, like single crochet, increasing, decreasing, and bobble stitches (if you want chubby fingers).

The pattern starts with the little horns that go on top of the head, then the head, arms, legs, and body, and after that you just need to sew everything together.

Make this toy for a nursery or as a gift for a little one who loves the show, and it will become their best bedtime friend.
