Stitches used in this tutorial are so simple and easy, like single crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches, and some crochet techniques like increasing and decreasing.
Materials needed are bulky, fluffy chenille yarn in white, red, and brown shades, a 4 mm crochet hook, safety eyes, stuffing, a tapestry needle, and scissors.

Attach the eyes at the “skip” stitches. Gradually add stuffing.

Flames
For the flames, use any yarn color you like.
Join the yarn to the body at the desired location and crochet a chain upward to create the flame shape. If making a longer flame, secure it to the body at intervals with single crochet stitches. Once the desired length is reached, work 1 sc into the body.
Then turn the piece and crochet sc stitches along the chain all the way back to the starting point. Fasten off and hide yarn end.
Create additional flames at random locations and in varying lengths as desired.
Add the eyebrows, pink cheeks, and nose as desired.
Sew or glue it onto the firewood.
