Blue Heeler, also known as the Australian Cattle Dog, is now available as a cute crochet pattern! Meet Bluey, the world’s most beloved cartoon puppy, turned into an adorable amigurumi toy. Chubby little arms, big eyes, yellow ears, and a two-tone blue body that fans will recognize right away.
This pattern is beginner-friendly and uses no difficult stitches, only simple sc, inc, dec, and a few others. We will start with the head and body, then make two arms, two legs, and two ears, all with simple shapes that work up quickly. At the end, you will make the face details from felt and attach them, but don’t worry, it is not as difficult as it sounds.
All you need for this pattern is super bulky yarn in three colors – blue, light blue, and dark blue, small pieces of felt for the face details, a 5.5 mm crochet hook, stuffing, and a stitch marker. Please note that the colors in the pattern are highlighted with matching font colors to make them easier to follow.
