This crochet backpack is made to fit small amigurumi toys and crochet characters. Its compact shape and cute details create a practical little accessory that adds personality to your handmade creations.
Materials needed to make this tiny backpack are fine yarn weight, a 2.5 mm crochet hook, and a button. All you need to make this puppy is to know some basic crochet stitches like single crochet stitches, half double crochet, and some crochet techniques like how to increase.
This tutorial is very easy to follow and has a lot of pictures that show each step in the tutorial, and it also has a photo tutorial on how to assemble all pieces to make the backpack.

- 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm crochet hooks
- 15 mm button

Backpack
Start with brown yarn, 2.5 mm crochet hook.
Rnd 1: ch 11, start on the second chain from the hook: inc, 8 sc, inc, on the other side of the chain: inc, 8 sc, inc (24)

Cut the yarn, fasten off and hide under stitches

Assembly
- Sew the flap to the back center, 2 rounds down from the round with hdc stitches.

- Sew the pockets to the sides, along 8 rounds, from round 6 from the bottom, along 3 sides. Sew them using 8 stitches at the bottom and 10 stitches between the edges at the top.
- Sew a button to the front after round 18.
- Sew the straps crosswise. At the top, under the flap, along the edges. At the bottom, near the lower edges of the pockets.
