This beautiful crochet jellyfish pattern is a simple, fun project that comes together quickly with just a few basic stitches like single crochet stitches, bobble stitches, and half double crochet stitches.
This crochet jellyfish is worked in a spiral from the top down, and crocheting some bobble stitches at the end round, then make tentacles separately, then sew them to the inside of the body.
Materials used are bulky velvet chenille yarn, a 4 mm crochet hook, a tapestry needle, and scissors.
You can add a hanging loop or a keychain loop to the jellyfish for different uses. Also, you can use it in coastal decor arrangements, pair it with other sea creatures for an amigurumi collection.

- Bulky Velvet Chenille, Yarn weight #6 (approx. 5-6 wpi)
- Color #1: orange, Color #2: grey, Color #3: yellow
- Gauge: 8-10 sts = 10 cm (4″), 10-14 rows

Use Color #3
Crochet on chain foundation.
Row 1: 33 ch, CC2, 2 sc, (3 ch, 1 sc) x 30
Repeat Row 1 for 4 more times.
Row 2: crochet along the edge. Sc3tog (single crochet 3 together)


Fasten off, leave yarn for sewing.
Assembly
- Sew the tentacles to the inside of the body.
- You can add a hanging loop or a keychain loop if desired.
