A tiny crochet cat shaped like a cozy loaf, featuring a simple, rounded form and soft, minimal details for a cozy and adorable finish.
Stitches used in the pattern are very simple and basic, like single crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches, and some crochet techniques like increase and decrease.
This tutorial worked in one piece in a continuous spiral; the ears and tail are crocheted at the end and attached to the body.
You can place them on desks or shelves, give them to cat lovers or fans of cozy handmade items, or add them to a collection of small amigurumi pieces.
Materials
- Yarn for body color
- Yarn in different color for the face details
- 3.50 / 4.00 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- 6 mm / 8 mm safety eyes
- Stuffing
- Tapestry needle

Insert eyes between R3 and R4, 6 to 7 stitches apart.

Start stuffing.

Ears x2
Choose a stitch more less 45 degreees diagonal to the eye, between R5 and R6. Insert the hook horizontally, pull the yarn through and ch 3.
In the 2nd ch from the hook sc, then hdc in the last ch. Sp st horizontally back onto the body. Fasten off.
Then just bring both tails to a stitch behind, tie a knot and hide it inside the plush.
Then, for the other ear, just repeat the same but start in a stitch more less the same distance to the center as the stitch you ended the first ear.
Face
Sew on the X nos and the whiskers.
Tail
If chenille yarn:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in Mr (6)
Rnd 2-6: 6 sc (6)
If cotton/mix yarn:
Rnd 1: 8 sc in Mr (8)
Rnd 2-6: 8 sc (8)
Stuff a little and sew on top of R13 and R14. Usually stab a needle to mark the center and where the top of the tail will be sewed.
