A little crochet bunny with adorable features and a soft, cuddly charm. This free crochet bunny pattern can be made in a variety of yarns for different-sized stuffed animals, using different yarn weights with suitable hooks for each one.

Materials used are Chenille yarn in brown, white, and red shades, a 4 mm hook, 15 mm safety eyes, fiberfill, scissors, and a yarn needle.

This pattern is so easy and takes no time to finish, and it has additional instructions on how to make the face details (indent eyes, nose, eye detail, eyebrows, chin), and how to assemble all parts.

It’s perfect for adding to nursery decorations, including in gift boxes, or a charming addition to an Easter basket.

Face Details

Indent Eyes

You start by inserting the needle at a random point on the face. Bring it out on the indide of one eye, insert again in another stitch right next to the same eye. Bring it out on the inner corner of the other eye, insert again right next to this stitch clos to the eye, bring it out on the starting point (random stitch). Pull it tight until the eyes look pulled inside and thre is a nose bridge.

Nose

Use pink yarn to sew the nose, width: 3 stitches, one row under the eyes or as you like.

Eye Detail

Sew white details on the sides of the eyes.

Eyebrows

Sew eyebrows with black thread over the eyes.

Chin

Like with the indented eyes, we now do an indented chin. Insert the needle first on a random point, then on the middle 5-6 rows under then nose, bring it out at the starting point. Pull the knot tight until the yarn disappears into the face and creates the shape of the typical bunny cheek.
