Turn a simple snack into a hilarious crochet project with this free funny crochet french fries pattern. The set includes a red crochet fry holder and a full set of amigurumi fries in different sizes.

Materials needed for this tutorial are any yarn weight with red and yellow shades, black acrylic yarn, a 4.5 mm crochet hook, 12 mm safety eyes, black embroidery yarn for the mouth, scissors, stuffing, and stitch markers.

Stitches used in the tutorial are single crochet stitch and some crochet techniques like increases and decreases. This free pattern starts by working on the fry carton, then the individual fries, and shows you how to finish and embroider the cute little face.

This playful pattern is a fun choice for crocheters searching for crochet food patterns, funny amigurumi, cute kitchen decor, or quirky crochet projects.

Designer: Moonbug Crochet

What do we have today? Today it’s a basket of cute cat-shaped nuggets together with french fries, all served in a lovely basket with ketchup. It’s amazing what kind of crochet patterns people can come up with. This is the project nobody knew they needed and now can’t live without.

Acrylic yarn in two colors, a 3.25 mm crochet hook, stuffing, small 4 mm safety eyes, pink yarn scraps, and an embroidery needle are all you need to make these kitten nuggets.

This pattern is beginner-friendly, we will not use any difficult stitches, only simple single crochet and a few others. First, we crochet the nugget ears, then the body, after that the tail and small details. The fries are made separately, but they are also very simple.

These kitten nuggets can be gifted as a whole basket to a friend who loves cats, used as decor, or simply for emotional support. It will be hard to stop making them.

Materials

Chicken nugget color yarn (Bug twist acrylic in color Mustard)

Polyfil stuffing

Stitch marker
