This cute Gengar amigurumi toy, inspired by the beloved Pokemon character, can be made with different colors and decorate your shelf with it.

It’s made using purple velvet yarn (size 4), 2.75mm crochet hook, safety eyes, fiberfill, black and red thread, tapestry needle, and stitch markers.

Stitches used in this tutorial are so simple and easy, like single crochet stitches, half double crochet, double crochet, and some crochet techniques like increasing and decreasing.

This tutorial starts by working on the body, ears, feet, arms, tail, spikes, long spike, and short spikes, then assemble all parts at the end.

This crochet mandrake is carefully handmade with soft yarn and charming details inspired by a magical plant. It brings a magical and imaginative touch to any handmade collection.

This tutorial is worked in continuous rounds, so don’t use a slip stitch and use a stitch marker to help you know where the beginning end of the rounds.

Materials needed to make this cute mandrake are 2 colors of Alize softy plus yarn, a 4mm crochet hook, 14 mm safety eyes, stuffing, a tapestry needle, stitch markers, and scissors.

You can use it as a magical themed decor, a unique handmade gift for fantasy lovers, a playful accent for a plant or nature themed setup.

The series is still trending all over the world, so we are here again with a pattern of the main symbol from the Stranger Things universe. This time it’s a Demogorgon made as a coaster for your mug.

To make this spooky coaster, you will need a 2 mm crochet hook, any yarn you like in 3 colors (burgundy, black, and white for embroidery), stitch markers, scissors, and a tapestry needle.

The stitches used in this tutorial are simple and beginner-friendly, like single crochet stitches, double crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches, and chain stitches.

You can customize this pattern by using different colors to match your home decor, or make a set of coasters as a thoughtful handmade gift for any Stranger Things fan. It’s perfect for spooky season decor, a themed gift, or a fun addition to your Halloween collection.

Designer: Amigulove Atelie

Materials

2.00 mm crochet hook

Yarn of your choice in colors: Marsala 7136, Steel 8797, White 8001

Tapestry needle

Stitch markers

Scissors

Fabric to cover the embroider on the back (optional)

Abbrevitions

Mr – magic ring
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
ch – chain
dec – decrease
inc – increase

Center

Use black yarn.

Rnd 1: 8 sc into magic ring (8)

Cloase with 1 sl st in the first stitch made and ch 1 to rise, it does not count as a stitch. We will work this way on all rows, finish with 1 sl st and ch 1 to rise.

Rnd 2: 8 inc (16)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 8 (24)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) x 8 (32)
Rnd 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) x 8 (40)
Rnd 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) x 8 (48)
Rnd 7: (5 sc, 1 inc) x 8 (56)
Rnd 8: (6 sc, 1 inc) x 8 (64)
Rnd 9: 64 sc (64)

Finish here, fasten off and weave in the yarn.

Petals

Use marsala yarn.

Join the yarn in the back loop of rnd 9, we will work in BLO.

Rnd 10: sl st across the entire row (64) (these are the base stitches)
Rnd 11: BLO: work the first petal, ch 1 to rise, make 12 sc (12)
Rnd 12-13: ch 1, turn the work and crochet back, 12 sc (12)
Rnd 14: 1 dec, 8 sc, 1 dec (10)
Rnd 15: 1 ch, turn, 10 sc (10)
Rnd 16: 1 ch, turn, 1 dec, 6 sc, 1 dec (8)
Rnd 17-18: 1 ch, turn, 8 sc (8)
Rnd 19: 1 ch, turn, 1 dec, 4 sc, 1 dec (6)
Rnd 20: 1 ch, turn, 1 dec, 2 sc, 1 dec (4)
Rnd 21-22: 4 sc (4)
Rnd 23: 2 dec (2)

Fasten off and weave in the yarn.

We have finished the first petal. Skip 1 base loop and join the marsala yarn in the next one, repeat the petal following the instructions from rows 11 to 23, when finished fasten off and weave in the yarn. Skip one base loop and attach the marsala yarn to the next.

Repeat until you have 5 petals.

Once the petals are done, we will make the outline with the gray yarn. Join it at any stitch, make sc around the entire flower, including the remaining sl sts, and when finished close with 1sl st and weave in the yarn.

With the White yarn, make stitches (embroidery lines) all over the flower randomly — there is no specific pattern to follow, make as many as you feel necessary.

On the back you can sew a piece of fabric so the embroidery stitches are not visible (optional), or as you embroider, weave the yarn between the stitches.

We all remember the popular series Squid Game, where the story of the main hero started with accepting the invitation card to the game. So today we will crochet a pattern of this famous card.

Using simple stitches like sc and ch you will create your own card with three embroidered symbols – triangle, square, and circle. First you make the base, and then sew the symbols on top. You can customize the card color, the shape, or even change the order of the symbols how you like.

Materials needed are a 2.2 mm crochet hook, four-ply yarn in brown and black colors, and scissors.

It makes a fun and unexpected gift for fans of the series, can be used as decor, or just a small handmade present for movie lovers.

I think everyone is watching the final season of the famous series Stranger Things, so today we have a cute mini Demogorgon pattern inspired by it. You can make it in different sizes and use various types of yarn.

This tutorial contains instructions on how to make your own Demogorgon using simple crochet stitches like single crochet, increasing, decreasing, and slip stitch.

You will start with the head, and then comes the most interesting part – the flower head. It is made in two parts (red and grey) that you will join together. After that, you will crochet the body, arms, and legs.

This pattern is perfect for making a gift for fans of the series, as a Halloween decoration, or just as a fun toy.

Now let’s get started!

Add a touch of magic with the mini potion bottle crochet pattern. This pattern is a no-sew pattern and worked from the bottom up, crafted using size 6 yarn in purple, white, beige, cotton yarn in white, black, a 5.5 mm crochet hook, safety eyes, yarn needle, stuffing, and a yarn needle.

This pattern is pretty beginner-friendly and quick to make. It’s made in one piece, making it easy to assemble. You can customize your potion bottles by changing the size of the yarn with a suitable hook size and adding beads or trinkets.

It can be used as a decorative accent, part of a themed display, or a fun collectible.

Materials

Size 6 yarn in purple, white, beige

Cotto yarn in white, black

4.5 mm crochet hook

12 mm safety eyes

Yarn needle

Stitch markers

Scissors

Stuffing material

Abbreviations

sc – single crochet
inc – increase
dec – decrease
Mr – magic ring
ch – chain
cc – color change
FLO – front loop only
BLO – back loop only

Invisible FO – the invisible FO creates a seamless look for your last round after fasten off. With you hook, skip a st and bring the finishing tail through the next st from the outside to the inside. Then draw the tail through the back loop only of the st you fasten off with from the outside to the inside again. This creates a transitional pair of loops.

Potion

Start with purple.

Place your safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9, five sts apart. Embroider a mouth one st wide between the eyes and some details right beside the eys with cotton yarn in black and white. Embroider blush one st wide next to the eyes with pink chenille yarn.

CC to white.

Rnd 11: sc around (36)
Rnd 12: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)
Rnd 13: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
Rnd 14: (sc, dec) x 8 (16)
Rnd 15-17: sc around (3 rounds) (16)
Rnd 18/1: in FLO (mark the first BLO with a st marker): hdc around (16)

Invisible FO, weave in the end. Stuff your potion firmly.

Insert your hook through the first BLO of round 17 (where you put the st marker) and pull a loop of beige yarn.

FO, sew the hole closed, weave in the ends.

If you want to make the body shape of the smaller dark purple potion, just crochet exactly the same except for leaving out rounds 5 and 12. Place eye only 3 sts apart for the smaller one.
