This heart works up quickly and only needs a small amount of cotton yarn with size 8/4, a size 2.5 mm hook, and some stuffing.

  • Cotton yarn – size 8/4 in the colors: red
  • Scissors
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • Fiberfill
  • Stitch markers
  • Sewing needle

Use red color yarn.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in Mr (6)
Rnd 2: inc x 6 (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (24)
Rnd 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (30)
Rnd 6: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
Rnd 7-9: sc around (36)

Fasten off, and leave a long tail on the 1st sphear. It will be used to connect to the second. Repeat one more time from R1 to R9, for the 2nd sphear.

Rnd 10: using the tail from the 1st sphear, make 6 sc across both sphears, connecting it to the 2nd, between 1st and 6th stitches of the 1st sphear on R10. Continuing R10 of the 2nd sphear, sc around the outer side of both sphears (60)
