This cute octopus is made with a 5.5 mm crochet hook, chenille yarn in 2 different colors, black yarn or black sheet for the mouth, 15mm safety eyes, and some stuffing.

Rnd 1: 8 sc into Mr (8)
Rnd 2: (inc) x 8 (16)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 8 (24)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 8 (32)
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x 8 (40)
Rnd 6-11: 1 sc in each stitch (40)

Sl st in the first st of next round, DO NOT cut the yarn to make tentackes.
Tentacles x8
(ch 2, 3 dc in next st, ch 2, 3 sl st) x 8
Sl st in ch 1 of first tentacle, fasten off and leave a long tail in one of the octopus for sewing.
Assembly
- Add eyes between R7 and R8, approximately 7 sc apart.
- Embroider the mouth on both sides (happy and sad) or use a black felt sheet
- Stuff one of the octopus with fiberfill, but only fill it enough so that the seond octopus can fit inside the first when folded
- Useing a yarn needle to sew the two parts together, ensuring that the faces of both pieces are aligned opposite to each other.
